Linda McCaskill of Havelock is the latest player to beat the odds of 1 in 749,398 to win a Cash 5 jackpot.
She used her lucky numbers to win $120,000 in Tuesday’s drawing.
She claimed her prize Thursday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh. After required state and federal tax withholdings, she took home $83,101.
She bought the $1 ticket at the Jim Dandy on Fontana Boulevard in Havelock.
