John Edmonds of Lexington is celebrating his good fortune after he won a $107,076 Cash 5 jackpot.
Edmonds bought the $1 Quick Pick ticket at Bill’s Truck Stop on Snider Kines Road in Lexington.
The ticket beat odds of one in 749,398 to win the jackpot in the April 14 drawing.
Edmonds claimed the jackpot Tuesday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh. After required state and federal tax withholdings, he took home $75,490.
