Due to adverse weather conditions from Hurricane Florence, the N.C. Education Lottery will close its Raleigh headquarters along with regional offices and claims centers in Raleigh, Greenville, and Wilmington on Friday, Sept. 14.
Regional offices and claims centers in Greensboro, Charlotte and Asheville are scheduled to operate as normal on Friday, but their schedules will be subject to weather conditions in those regions of the state.
All lottery drawings will be held as scheduled.
During Hurricane Florence, the lottery will provide updates on the status of its operations on its website, nclottery.com, on its social media channels, and through media releases.
Players can also call ahead to check and see if a regional office is open. Here is a list of offices with contact information.
