Wendell Lackey of Statesville is celebrating his good fortune after he won $200,000 playing the Lucky 7 Bonus scratch-off game.
Lackey bought the winning ticket at the USA Mart on Salisbury Road in Statesville.
He claimed his prize Wednesday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh. After required state and federal tax withholdings, he took home $141,501.
The $5 ticket launched in April. Five $200,000 prizes remain.
