Diane Ellis of Gastonia is celebrating after she won a $150,000 prize in the Feb. 29 Powerball drawing.
Ellis bought the Quick Pick using the lottery’s Online Play service. Players who buy tickets online are notified by email when they win.
Ellis claimed her prize at lottery headquarters in Raleigh. After required state and federal tax withholdings, she took home $106,126.
The jackpot for Wednesday’s Powerball drawing is an estimated $110 million or $88.1 million cash.
