Powerball and Mega Millions players in North Carolina can have fun this week playing for jackpots totaling $1.267 billion.
A Powerball winner tonight would have the choice of taking home the $532 million jackpot as an annuity or $260.1 million in cash.
A Mega Millions winner on Tuesday would have the choice of taking home the $735 million jackpot as an annuity or $356.7 million in cash. If won, the $735 million jackpot would represent the sixth largest in Mega Millions history.

While North Carolinians keep trying their luck at the jackpots, players continue to win other nice prizes. One lucky ticket in North Carolina matched four white balls and the yellow Mega Ball in Friday’s Mega Millions drawing:
• The $2 ticket, purchased at Joe's Kwik Marts on N.C. 16 North in Denver, won $10,000.

The odds of winning a Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 302 million. The odds of winning a Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292 million.
