Domeyana Evans of Fayetteville tried her luck in a second-chance drawing and won a $100,000 top prize on Wednesday.
Evans won her lucky prize in the Season End Blowout drawing. The drawing had more than 5 million entries.
She arrived at lottery headquarters Thursday to claim her prize and, after required federal and state tax withholdings, took home $71,750.
The Season End Blowout drawing awarded three North Carolina lottery players with a $100,000 prize. The other two prizes have not been claimed yet.
