The Mega Millions game brings a big present for the winning on Christmas Eve with a $1 billion jackpot waiting to be delivered.
A winner tonight would wake up Christmas Day with the choice of unwrapping that jackpot as an annuity of $1 billion or as $448.8 million in cash. If won, the jackpot would be the seventh largest in Mega Millions history and the largest ever won in the month of December.
The jackpot jumped $30 million, from $970 million to $1 billion today.
If you try to win this life-changing jackpot, remember it only takes one ticket to win. The odds to win the jackpot are 1 in 302 million. Each ticket faces the same odds.
