NOTICE: Sixteen scratch-off games end soon

Sixteen games are ending Friday, May 31. We suggest scratching and cashing your favorites while you still can!

The games are:

  • $20 ticket: The Perfect Gift
  • $10 tickets: Hamilton, Double Diamond Cashword
  • $5 tickets: Ice, Super Loteria, Carolina Panthers, Holiday Gold
  • $3 tickets: Loteria (#862), Nutcracker Cash
  • $2 tickets: 10X The Cash (#870), $100 In A Flash, Winner Winner Chicken Dinner, Peppermint Red/Winter Green
  • $1 tickets: 5X The Cash (#869), Triple Cash, Stocking Stuffer

After the games end, you’ll have 90 days to claim any prizes you’ve won.

All prizes from these sixteen games must be claimed on or before Thursday, Aug. 29.

Claims between $600 and $99,999 must be made at one of the six regional claim centers before 5 p.m. that day. Claims of $100,000 or more must be made at lottery headquarters in Raleigh before 5 p.m. on that day as well.

Mail-in claims must be received within 90 days of the official end-of-game date. Remember, postmarks will not satisfy the 90-day requirement.

Hi Kim, great question! We make every effort to keep a game in circulation until all of the top-prizes have been won, however, ticket sales and other extenuating circumstances may cause a game to end early. If sales are lower on an older game, the lottery might make the decision to end that game in order to make way for a new game with more prizes available.

Hi, Roger! Yes - Lucky For Life drawings use a secure Random Number Generator (RNG) to draw the numbers for each drawing.

Quick question nc lottery. I played 102 50/50 with fireball. The fireball was 8. One of the fireball combinations was 182 I thought this would be a win the eight replaces the 0. What am I missing? Would it have been a win if I played exact?NC Lottery
Hi, Amy! The Fireball number can replace any one of the lottery-drawn numbers, but your numbers are always the same. If the drawn numbers are 1-1-2 and Fireball 8, for example, you could make the additional winning combinations of 8-1-2, 1-8-2, or 1-1-8!
