Twelve scratch-off games will end soon

Twelve games are ending Friday, Feb. 28, so go get lucky while they are still for sale.

$30 ticket: 200X The Cash (826)
$25 ticket: Extreme Cash
$10 tickets: $80,000,000 Cash Blowout, Scorching Hot 7s
$5 tickets: Triple Red 777’s, Bankroll, Power Cashword, Mega Bucks (887)
$3 ticket: Holiday Cash 30X
$2 tickets: Payday!, Junior Big Ol’ Bucks
$1 ticket: 5X The Cash (918)

You’ll have 90 days to claim any prizes you’ve won after the game ends.

All prizes from these 12 games must be claimed on or before Thursday, May 29.

Claims between $600 and $99,999 must be made at one of the six regional claim centers before 5 p.m. that day. Claims of $100,000 or more must be made at lottery headquarters in Raleigh before 5 p.m. on that day as well.

Mail-in claims must be received within 90 days of the official end-of-game date. Remember, postmarks will not satisfy the 90-day requirement.

Why in the world are Bankroll and Power Cashword going away? There's still a ton of top prizes left on those games. I agree with everything else. Take the Red Hot Slots or the Multiplier Mania instead. I know my opinion is one of many. Oh yeah, and that $8 Million Money Taker is awful. NC Lottery
Hi Troy, generally, the lottery introduces 3-5 new scratch-off games each month. Every effort is made to leave a game on sale until all top prizes are claimed. There are times when a game is no longer popular, or space needs to be made for new inventory, and we have to make the tough decision to end a game. We have an obligation to have games available that players want to play, and to sustain sales and earnings for education to meet our commitment to the state.

Hi Ricky, the final top prize for the 200X The Cash scratch-off was recently won. We will typically end a game once there are no more top prizes remaining.

Hi Phillip! Whether a player buys a ticket as soon as a new game is released or buys one 6 months later, we want everyone to have a chance to be entered for the second-chance drawings. Since we can’t plan when the top prizes will be won, we pay attention to ticket sales and prizes remaining in that particular game to determine the appropriate time to hold the next second-chance drawing.
