A sold-out crowd cheered as the NASCAR Xfinity series returned to Rockingham Speedway in Richmond County on Saturday for the first time in more than 20 years. The North Carolina Education Lottery proudly sponsored the history-making race.
Nearly a dozen lucky lottery players and their guests enjoyed the N.C. Education Lottery 250 with a VIP experience that included a ride around the legendary speedway, seats high above the track in a suite, food, and racing swag.
Two particularly lucky players had their moment in the spotlight ahead of the race. Gregory Cade from Fayetteville served as the grand marshal and Adam Greene from Salisbury waved the green flag as the honorary starter.
Players won these awesome experiences through lottery drawings and promotions. Learn how you could win a once-in-a-lifetime experience by visiting our lottery website.
